BREAKING NEWS: Monday, Aug 7.  The seven cyclists of the Ride-for-Green Team successfully completed their 14-day 900-kilometer journey across the rugged Tibetan plateau, crossing eight passes at 4000m above sea level. The monies raised by the Ride are still being collected and counted but we anticipate that the Ride has raised over US$40,000 for the cause of better nutrition for Tibetan children.

Funds raised will build 5 greenhouses at local primary schools to feed 2,000 children each year over a 10 year period. The "Ride For Green" project is headed up by the Kham Aid Foundation, who has been running health and education programs in the region since 1997.
